Hotels
During the next week, we will provisionally reserve rooms at reduced rates in a number of hotels. Most of these hotels are situated close to Wittenbergplatz in the centre of West Berlin. The journey to the Henry Ford Building takes around 15 minutes: take the direct U3 subway line from Thielplatz station and walk the final short distance. A map of the Berlin subway system is available here. On the evenings of the conference, Wittenbergplatz is an ideal departure point for those wishing to explore the city, and the numerous restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity are ideal venues for getting together with colleagues.
Note that you may be able to obtain better rates than the ones we have been offered by the hotels if you book early through an online reservation service.
